The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for numerous rail projects totaling over ?17,600 crore in Jharkhand. These projects encompass the expansion of rail lines such as Sone Nagar-Andal, Tori-Shivpur, and Biratoli-Shivpur, as well as the introduction of new rail lines like Mohanpur-Hansdiha and Dhanbad-Chandrapura. These initiatives are expected to enhance rail connectivity and spur socio-economic growth in the state. Additionally, PM Modi flagged off three trains during the event, including the Deoghar-Dibrugarh service, Tatanagar-Badampahar MEMU service, and a long-haul freight train from Shivpur station
